One Year Later Blog

Announcement

We regret to announce that as at the end of march “one year later” will be on hiatus to persue a new project. We have had so much fun over the past three years performing to Qld crowd and would like to thank every single person who has ever attended our shows, bought or downloaded our music, purchased our merch or has shared the stage with us. We had hit a point in our career as a band where we felt we wanted something bigger and better out of our music. We decided that we all wanted to leave Oyl behind and start fresh with our new project known as “goodnight midnight”. Please feel free to check it out @ www.goodnightmidnight.com

Again, thanks to everyone!

Love,

Kurt, Terry, Dean & Brent

One Year Later (EP Launch), The Dream The Chase, Greatest of These

Brisbane band One Year Later release their debut EP.

The headlining band The Dream, The Chase are a Progressive/Alt Rock Band with epic size in their sound. So you get a great expansive sound with beautiful and wandering melodies/guitars, and some parts that pull it all right back and throw it in your face. Their debut EP, Found Again, was released on Sept 24th, 2009. Recently they released a music video for their single, ‘Who Is Alone’. After their last tour in January 2010 the band has been laying low but now they’re ready to take off with this very show before they head out on their next Australian tour.

One Year Later is an Alternative Pop/Rock band that has only been on the scene for the past year and is set to release their debut EP on this night. The EP is complied of four tracks and will given out free on entry to the show. They had much success last year dispursing 500 copies of their demo CD, aswell as supporting many national acts including After The Fall and Calling All Cars. Their catchy choruses and melodies will have you singing by the end of each track, whether you know the song or not. This will be their only Brisbane show until they head on their first tour in August.

Recently, Greatest Of These headed to Atlanta to record some tracks with well-known producer Matt Malpass. They are set to release these recordings sometime soon as an EP. Every show they perform has energy, passion and great music. So get to this show early to see these guys in action.
